Meet Dr. Liji Mathew

Dr. Liji Mathew hails from the picturesque town of Cochin in South India, where her love for healing and commitment to excellence in education were cultivated. Her journey in dentistry began at Christian Medical College and Hospital in Ludhiana, where she graduated with distinction. Recognizing her passion for prosthetic dentistry and implantology, she furthered her studies at Amrita School of Dentistry, Cochin, earning her Masters in Prosthodontics and Implantology (MDS) with flying colors, securing the Gold Medal for the graduate with the highest Academic and Clinical Skills.
Upon relocating to the U.S, Dr. Mathew pursued her DMD from Kornberg School of Dentistry, Temple University, Philadelphia, where she graduated summa cum laude and was honored with the Dean’s Award for the Senior who demonstrated exceptional clinical proficiency in her graduating class.
Now settled in Katy, she resides in Cinco Ranch and is passionately dedicated to serving the dental needs of the Houston community. Her commitment to patient care is evident in her tireless pursuit of knowledge and clinical mastery. She continuously participates in conferences, presenting her scientific papers and winning numerous awards for her research. Dr. Mathew is also an accomplished author, with several publications to her credit. She’s an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Greater Houston Dental Society. She’s also a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI). She also holds a masters degree in clinical reasearch and data management.
Beyond her professional life, Dr. Mathew finds joy in gardening and painting. She is an active member of her Church community and cherishes spending quality time with her husband and three children, who are the center of her world. She is also deeply interested in Christian missionary activities, both at her church and in her community, and she was fortunate to serve the under-privileged population residing at the Foothills of the Himalayas when she served her commitment at Hebertpur Christian Mission Hospital.
