Meet Dr. Scott Pinkston

Dr. Scott Pinkston was raised in Gatesville, Texas until 1985 and then moved to Houston and attended Alief Hastings High School. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 1992 and then subsequently received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from UT Houston Dental Branch, graduating in 1996. After dental school, Dr. Pinkston completed a General Practice Residency at Herman Hospital from 1996-1997.

Dr. Pinkston passionately served his community at his private practice in Wharton, Texas that he opened in 1999 until he proudly joined the team of docs at Fort Bend Dental in 2020. He is excited for the opportunity to practice alongside the partners at Fort Bend Dental and to continue to help the practice develop and to continue to care for all those in Fort Bend County and all surrounding communities. Dr. Pinkston is currently a member of the Greater Houston Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. A believer in lifelong education, he regularly expands his expertise in dentistry by attending continuing education courses. Dr. Pinkston is certified in Invisalign and Sleep Dentistry and is dedicated to bringing Fort Bend Dental patients the best that he believes the field has to offer.

Along with his wife, Dr. Pinkston enjoys cooking, practicing the art of jiu jitsu, mountain biking, travel, and above all else, spending time with his family and friends.
