Dr. Andrew Dugum

Periodontist

Dr. Andrew Dugum is originally from Southern California. He graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine. He then pursued his dental degree from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, where he also developed a passion for helping his community and meeting their particular needs. This led him to pursue a Master’s in Public Health concurrently with his dental degree. He elected to continue his education in periodontics at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, where he received his certificate in Periodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry degree. His initial interest in the field of periodontics was initiated by his curiosity about how systemic health affected the oral cavity and the progression of periodontal disease. He recently joined the Fort Bend Dental team as a specialist in the field of periodontics and implant therapy.

He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontics, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Association. He is excited to join the Fort Bend Dental team to be able to offer patients better comprehensive care that translates to every part of dentistry. In his free time, Dr. Dugum enjoys visiting the local parks, watching movies, going to concerts, traveling, and trying new places to eat.
