Curodont®: A Drill-Free Way to Treat Early Cavities

Stop Early Cavities Without Drilling, Needles, or Fillings

What if you could treat tooth decay before it required a filling?

At Fort Bend Dental, we are proud to offer Curodont®, an innovative treatment that helps stop and repair early tooth decay without drilling, injections, or removing healthy tooth structure.

Using advanced biomimetic technology, Curodont works with your body’s natural healing process to rebuild weakened enamel and help prevent early cavities from progressing into larger problems.

Whether you are looking for a more conservative treatment option for yourself or your child, Curodont may provide a comfortable alternative to traditional fillings.

What Is Curodont?

Curodont is a non-invasive treatment designed to repair early-stage tooth decay before a cavity becomes large enough to require a filling.

Unlike traditional dentistry, which removes damaged tooth structure and replaces it with a restoration, Curodont helps support the natural remineralization process within the tooth.
The treatment contains specially developed peptides that penetrate beneath the tooth surface and create an environment that encourages minerals from your saliva to rebuild weakened enamel.

The result is a healthier, stronger tooth without drilling or injections.

How Does Curodont Work?

Early cavities often begin below the surface of the enamel before they become visible holes in the tooth.

When Curodont is applied:

  1. The affected area is identified during your dental examination.
  2. The Curodont solution is applied directly to the tooth.
  3. The solution penetrates the area of early decay.
  4. Minerals naturally present in your saliva are attracted into the weakened area.
  5. Over time, the tooth structure is strengthened and remineralized.

By treating decay at its earliest stage, Curodont helps preserve more of your natural tooth structure and may prevent the need for future restorative treatment.

Is Curodont Right for You?

Curodont is designed for patients with early-stage tooth decay.

You may be a candidate if:

  • Early cavities have been detected during an exam
  • White spot lesions are present on the teeth
  • You want to avoid unnecessary drilling whenever possible
  • You are looking for preventive treatment options
  • Your child has early signs of tooth decay
  • You want to preserve as much natural tooth structure as possible

Not every cavity can be treated with Curodont. Larger cavities that have already created significant tooth damage may still require traditional restorative treatment.

Our dentists will determine whether Curodont is appropriate during your examination.

Curodont for Children

Many parents are surprised to learn that not every cavity requires a filling.

When decay is identified early enough, Curodont may provide a gentle, comfortable alternative that helps protect your child’s smile without the stress of drilling or injections.

Parents love Curodont because it is:

  • Quick and comfortable
  • Needle free
  • Drill free
  • Safe for children
  • Designed to preserve healthy tooth structure

Combined with regular dental visits, good brushing habits, fluoride, and healthy nutrition, Curodont can play an important role in protecting your child’s oral health.

Curodont vs. Traditional Fillings

Both treatments have an important role in dentistry. The key is identifying tooth decay as early as possible so that more conservative options may be available.

Curodont

  • Treats early decay
  • No drilling
  • No injections
  • Preserves natural tooth structure
  • Supports remineralization

Traditional Fillings

  • Used for larger cavities
  • Requires removal of damaged tooth structure
  • May require local anesthetic
  • Restores damage after it has occurred
