Dr. Lana Elborno
Dentist
Dr. Lana Elborno is a native of the western suburbs of Chicago, IL, and has always been deeply committed to helping others. From a young age, she was driven by a passion for service, a dedication that would later shape her career. Dr. Lana earned her undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Spanish. During her time at Loyola, she immersed herself in a variety of service-oriented activities, including working as a camp counselor while studying abroad in the Dominican Republic and volunteering with LIFT-Chicago, an organization focused on empowering individuals in underserved communities by assisting with resume building and social program applications.
Dr. Lana’s interest in dentistry was sparked during a shadowing experience with a family friend. She was inspired by the profound impact dentists can have, whether it’s alleviating pain or enhancing a patient’s smile in a matter of moments. Motivated by this realization, she pursued her dental education at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, IL.
In 2017, Dr. Lana met her husband, Saif, at dental school orientation. Their shared love for The Office and other common interests quickly forged a strong connection. After graduating in 2021, they married in a celebration that beautifully blended their respective Palestinian and Pakistani heritages.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Lana enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, and hosting dinner parties. She and her husband spend their weekends playing pickleball and exploring Houston’s vibrant culinary scene.
