All-on-4 Dental Implants Provide an Immediate Restorative Solution
While dental implants are the best way to restore a full arch of teeth, traditional implants often require preliminary bone grafting.
At Fort Bend Dental, our doctors provide All-on-4® dental implants, an option that provides outstanding benefits while eliminating the need for grafting.

Understanding the All-on-4 Technique
All-on-4 dental implants provide the quickest and least invasive solution to replacing a full arch of teeth with an implant-supported denture. Made by Nobel Biocare®, a pioneer in the industry, this implant system can support a full-arch denture with just four implants.
Using only four strategically placed implants per arch, the treatment concept provides individuals an easy and effective way to replace missing teeth and improve their quality of life. Patients who are unable to qualify for traditional implants, or who want to avoid supplemental procedures, such as bone grafting, can often restore their smile with All-in-4 implants. These patients can then eat their favorite foods with ease and speak with confidence without worrying about their denture slipping out of place.
All-on-4 dental implants provide the quickest and least invasive solution to replacing a full arch of teeth with an implant-supported denture.
Traditional full arch implant-supported dentures generally require anywhere from six to eight implants, followed by an extensive healing period that can last from three to six months. To qualify for this procedure, patients are required to have sufficient jawbone density in order to create a firm foundation for the implants. When bone loss has occurred, patients may first need to undergo bone grafting.

The All-on-4 Dental Implant Procedure
With All-on-4 dental implants, your doctor will strategically place the posts, minimizing your need for bone grafting, a sinus lift, and additional implants. To begin the surgery, the doctor will numb the area and administer sedation, if needed, before inserting two straight implants in the front of the arch with a tilted implant at a 45-degree angle on either side. This precise placement serves as a secure foundation for your denture. In most cases, the doctor can attach your customized denture to the implants during the same appointment, providing an immediate and permanent solution to tooth loss.
Treatment Benefits
Neglecting tooth loss can lead to serious issues for both our oral and general health. Widespread tooth loss can cause jawbone degeneration and bone loss, speech impediments, collapsed tissue leading to an aged appearance, and poor nutrition.
Choosing to repair your smile with All-on-4 dental implants provides many benefits, including:
- Improved aesthetics and dental function
- Clearer speech
- Realistic-looking, lasting results
- Increased self-confidence and better quality of life
- Cost-effective and minimally invasive treatment
- Faster treatment times
It is important to keep in mind that All-on-4 implants are not right for everyone. Certain conditions, such as an autoimmune disease, may mean traditional dentures are a safer treatment option.
